Very practical app.

All of a sudden I can not download any Comics I buy. I always get an authentication Error. If I retry I get the Same Error again. I already wasted over 3 Euro that Way!

Great Update, purchases gone, cant log in, my whole comics gone!!!

Great app. Only issue is I would like the ipad version to support file transfer via iTunes, like pages and other programs. This way I can back them up my self and be able to add them later with out redownloading the comic again. Just my preference. Maybe allowing use to import the comics we buy to iBooks, then iBooks can sync my comics. Many people want to add all there books and comics to iBooks. Use other apps to purchase but view and sync via iBooks/iTunes.

The navigation is awkward and buggy, making the story almost unreadable. Some panels cannot be navigated to or get cropped in landscape mode. Scrolling around and zooming in to read text bubbles is dizzying and distracting. It is as if you scanned a comic book and tried to read it with the photo app. Pages where the graphic artist got overly creative with the layout are almost totally unreadable. There is no guided interaction with the story. Buy the book.

I agree completely with the previous reviewer. This was awful. It reminded me of just a scanned comic viewed on a reader. I even paid for a comic just to give them the benefit of the doubt, but ended up deleting it, because the navigation was lousy and without zooming every screen, unreadable. With such amazing comic apps already available, one would have thought the developers would be embarrassed to be in the same pool.

I dont know about this one... The previous reviews definitely applies. That said the stories I have read are interesting, & the price per comic is also pleasing in most cases. My biggest problem with this app is the downloaded comics you got for free do not follow numerical order when you download the series.... The freebie always shows up in the last position of the series even though in most cases its comic #1.

Nothing special. Theres only 3 free comics that never change and the interface is uninteresting. I would recommend buying the printed comics.

Only 3 free comic books. I only pay for hard copies.

When this app works the comics are great but I find this app is very unstable and crashes more than it works. Please fix this App!

Next gen and ds9 specifically please!

When u can spend a few dollars and buy a whole book for your iPad, its a letdown when they hit you for 2 dollars here and you get a 20 page comic.

The app itself works as advertised, a half decent comic book reader (plus Im a sucker for Star Trek), however, the store is broken in this update.

Had this for a few months and no new comics. Why are people giving this good ratings?

The app came back, the very next day, the app came back, i thought it was a goner, it just couldnt stay away. Must have been cloaked. Never did get a message back from tech support though. Engage!

...but all is well now. Lots of new free titles, too.

Love the comics - above what I was expecting. I had a problem and lost access to my purchased comic, and these guys responded on a Sunday night. I had my purchase restored by 8:00 AM Monday morning. Terrific customer service.

Excellent comic experience -- works really well on iPhone; on iPad, WOW, fantastic. My only minor suggestion, the artwork in bookshelf view is distracting -- is the repeating IDW graphic really necessary?

I thought when the website says "• If you have an IDW iOS app account, all your purchases will be available in the new apps. " and "2. Once you register with the correct email address, all of your previous comic purchases will show in the My Books list on the new IDW family of apps." That I would be able to sync my purchases on the site to this app. In fact, theres a "restore purchases" button. It doesnt work. When I asked support, they just redirected me to the FAQs. Useless.

UPDATED: I took one business day for IDW to respond. Apparently you need to close all apps, then relaunch the IDW Comic app. Restore within the app and previously purchased items will appear. If you have trouble contact their feedback email within the app and they will help you. Thanks IDW! ***Old 1 star review follows****** Scroll to the bottom of the display and it asks you to click on lowest banner if you are updating from an older app. It instructs you to create a NEW login to sign up to restore previous purchases. I did it. I "restored" afterwards within the app and got a pop up telling me previous purchases were restored! Hurray... except nothing shows up in que :-( I emailed their feedback folks and awaiting an answer! I will update rating and review when I hear back from their office.
