"Download error" - day 4. I will consider improving this review when the devs decide to allow me to actually download and read the comic I purchased.

Just purchased the app for my ipad2 and purchased a comic... Very disappointed when the one I purchased wouldnt download.

purchased comic but did not download. emailed comixology, still no comic. no problems with previous version of app.

I was very happy when this app became "powered" by comixology, because I had purchases in both. but I cant get the star trek (or IDW) purchases to show up. If I try to buy within this app it tells me Ive bought them, but not downloaded. So I try to download, and theyre not there. If I go to comixology, they are happy to take my money again...no surprise there. Im not happy now, thats for sure.

I dont have any of the issues some other folks seem to have. Mine a mid-model iPod touch. If I delete a comic I can download it again for free... Its about perfect, really.

Ive made several purchases of several series on this app. I cant download or restore them!

The app description makes it sound like there are free comix, but if so you evidently have to buy some first. All I ever got from this "free" app was a sort of storefront to buy comics (which I did not). Gave it 2 stars only because the storefront looks nice, and it may be a great app for all I know, but it is NOT free.

Ive been reading since the app launched. Ive switched iPhones twice and bought an iPad and been through tons of updates and I still have every comic Ive ever purchased.

Excellent "pane-panning". Zoom in on a pane, and swipe pane to pane to read comics the way they are meant to be read! Nice. Good comic books available to us Trekkies too. Thanks gents.

This is the best comic app ever!

This was formerly a five star review. You guys have really made a mess of what used to be a perfect comics app. The old version got me back into reading comics for the first time since the Nineties. Ive spent hundreds of dollars on comics in this, the DC and the Marvel apps. But now youve broken the experience and to make matters worse you post clearly fake reviews saying "love it! The new app is much better! Stop complaining!" Until you return to the original comixology version with in app purchases you wont get another dime from me. And Im sure Im not even remotely alone in that.

I had this app before it updated. Now, it wont recognize my account and I lost all the books I had previously purchased (with real money). Can you fix this, IDW dev team? Because right now, youre worse at tech support than Cryptic. And Cryptic is more like Crypturd.

Perhaps if Comixology hadnt been so dumb and greedy, IDW would still be associated with them and not went with madefire that has resulted in a mess of a display format, MISSING PURCHASES, and NO MORE GUIDED VIEW which means iPhone readers are out of luck.

Cant connect to my old account, have to create a new one. When trying to read gets fully downloaded start reading, but then errors and says cant download. Wont let me access downloaded file. Layout is bad, see NO improvements over the previous version that worked perfectly. Why "fix" things that arent broken?

While the app does work for me in terms of account and downloads, the downloads have gaps, and some pages of the wrong comic in them. The app is clearly looks like a beta product.

This update is awful! Everything looks different, half of my comics have turned into something else.. Did I mention I got this app and paid so much on it to read comics and not to watch them! I absolutely loathe Madefire and one of the reasons I downloaded this app is not to get all the motion but the actual original art! Besides, everything looks so different and whatever, if I keep ranting people will loose interest in my comment. Bring the old version back please?

You took a great ap and made it trash. Not worth downloading. Unfortunately I lose all the books I purchased as other book readers dont see the IDW purchases. Thanks for absolutely nothing. WAIT! There is something... Thanks for wasting my money.

Its a pain to have to sign up for the madefire, or whatever its called. You can still download previous purchases, the new layouts annoying, as is the user interface. Thankfully I dont read a bunch of IDW, so when I stop using the ap I wont be out much in the way of reading time...

Awful update. The flow of the comic is frustrating. I now have to zoom myself. It used to be seamless, but the update makes reading them frustrating.

Much better than the old app. Stop hating, embrace change and contact support. They are really helpful.
